The company's self-insured benefit plan for you and your eligible family members includes life insurance,

The Hy-Vee and Affiliates 401(k) Plan
The Hy-Vee and Affiliates 401(k) Plan provides retirement income for thousands of employees. Participants save
for retirement on a voluntary basis by using pre-tax dollars and may qualify for Hy-Vee's matching
contribution to the 401(k) Plan. Participation in this Plan and the matching contribution give employees
an ownership stake in Hy-Vee.
Hy-Vee & Affiliates Tax Savings Plan
This voluntary program enables employees to pay for their out-of-pocket medical and dependent care expenses

Debentures and Savings Certificates
Employees living in Iowa may buy interest-bearing debenture bonds issued by Hy-Vee. For those living
out-of-state, Preferred Employee Savings Certificates are available through Midwest Heritage Bank. Both
investments provide above-market rates of return.
Vacations
Paid vacation time increases with years of service. Employees also earn "personal days" that can be taken at
